MUSC pharmacy telehealth featured on NPR

Student Ryan Rosenblatt and faculty member James Sterrett were featured on the National Public Radio (NPR) podcast, "Innovation in Pharmacy School Transforms Rural Care." Through telehealth, Rosenblatt can work in a clinic and still connect with Dr. Sterrett as his preceptor. The technology allows true pharmacy counseling through remote sites in the Fetter Healthcare Network, which provides care to all patients regardless of their ability to pay. The partnership gives underserved areas needed access to pharmacists' expertise. The American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy calls the program a model for colleges of pharmacy nationwide.
