Pharmacy Residency Research Certificate Program

The Medical University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy offers a research certificate program for residents. The program consists of live sessions aimed at improving residents’ ability to conduct, disseminate and interpret research.

Academic Preparation Program

The MUSC College of Pharmacy Academician Preparation Program consists of live and recorded seminars and practical experiences in teaching, precepting and evaluating pharmacy students in a variety of settings. More than 425 residents from the state of South Carolina have successfully completed the program.

Other development opportunities

  • Work in the field with a medical affairs mentor to gain skills in effective communication of scientific data, application of medical strategy, and development of scientific partnerships with practitioners in dermatology.
  • Attend and actively participate in relevant scientific and professional meetings, including major medical meetings and SkinCeuticals/L’Oréal Advisory Boards.
  • Participate in the MUSC College of Pharmacy Industrial Pharmacists Organization (IPhO).
  • Complete a one-month drug information rotation at the MUSC – Health Drug Information Center.
