National Institutes of Health oncology specialist and 2007 alumna returns to give guest lecture

Lisa Cordes ’07, oncology clinical pharmacy specialist and educator for the National Cancer Institute and the Office of Clinical Research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), visited campus recently as a guest lecturer in the P3 pharmacotherapy class. She taught a lecture on chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting and another on colon cancer. In her current position, she provides clinical and protocol support to the Genitourinary Malignancies Branch and the Laboratory of Tumor Immunology and Biology. She is also an educator and lecturer for students, residents, and fellows from around the country and serves as the co-director of the NIH Principles of Clinical Pharmacology Course.
