Lauren Adams keynotes scholarship luncheon

Fourth-year student Lauren Adams provided the keynote address at the 2023 Scholarship Luncheon, which was held Friday, August 18 at Hall's Signature Events on 5 Faber Street.

The event is an opportunity for pharmacy scholarship donors and recipients to meet and interact. For the donors, it is gratifying to see their investment is going toward outstanding young pharmacists. For the recipients, it is gratifying to thank the person who has made a significant difference in their lives. It is also good for career networking.

• Graduated from University of Virginia with B.S. in Biology
• Has worked in pharmacies as a pharmacy technician, intern, and intern manager
• Was president of her P1 class
• Was president of the Student Government Association
• Served as an officer for the college’s chapters of Kappa Psi, Phi Lambda Sigma, and APhA
• Served as an officer for the MUSC SGA and the SCSHP
