Dean Philip Hall commemorates 140 years of pharmacy on Giving Tuesday

Challenging others in the MUSC pharmacy family to match his gift, Dean Philip Hall decided to commemorate the rich history of the MUSC College of Pharmacy by donating $140 on Giving Tuesday (November 30, 2021).  

Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 to encourage people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Coming on the heels of Black Friday -- the day after Thanksgiving that marks the beginning of the holiday shopping season -- Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to direct year-end resources to a philanthropic cause.

MUSC's Giving Tuesday garnered more than $1 million in overall contributions, surpassing its goal of $1,035,000. Gifts can be made to MUSC and the College of Pharmacy on Giving Tuesday through MUSC's Giving Tuesday website.
