On April 11, 2025, the college honored the Class of 2026 with the annual COP Pinning Ceremony, which celebrates the students' transition from the didactic program to the experiential fourth year.

To celebrate this transitional moment, the COP Class of 2026 Pinning Ceremony took place at 4 p.m. in the Drug Discovery Auditorium. The program featured faculty member Aymen Shatnawi's comments on the symbolism of the pinning ceremony and remarks from the P3 class president, Noah Burkett.

"The pinning ceremony is an important part of the transition from didactic student to practicing student pharmacist," said Philip Hall, dean of MUSC College of Pharmacy. "It's a significant shift from one perspective to another, connected by a mental and emotional bridge. Our students deserve our recognition of how much they've achieved and how different their experiences will be from this point forward. These are the kinds of moments that make for memorable and enriching ceremonies for us, for our students, and their families."

A reception will follow in the COP lobby beginning around 5 p.m. (immediately following the ceremony).
