Future Pharmacists Friday Williams and Nussbaum
Noah Nussbaum and Zipporah Williams are incoming students to the MUSC College of Pharmacy

One worked as an ER nurse. One works in his family’s independent pharmacy. One is interested in research and another in interprofessional opportunities. The future pharmacists entering this fall bring a wide range of experience and expectation to the MUSC College of Pharmacy.

Starting February 12, the MUSC College of Pharmacy will begin highlighting members of the incoming Class of 2025 on its Instagram and Facebook pages in a new feature - Future Pharmacists Friday.

Benjamin Emery was a three-time All-American wrestler and team MVP at River Bluff High School before matriculating at the University of South Carolina, where he is on the President’s Honor List. He currently works as a pharmacy technician with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health Division of Inpatient Services at Bryan Psychiatric Hospital Pharmacy.

“I chose MUSC because of the unlimited opportunities that the College of Pharmacy has to offer,” he said. “With MUSC being on the same campus as a hospital, I can build upon my interprofessional collaborations and make connections with other health care professionals. MUSC has everything that will allow me to be a successful pharmacist in the future.”

Here is a sneak peek at some of the incoming students to be featured in the Future Pharmacists Friday campaign:
